Religious Education

Religious Education sessions for grades 1-6 are held on Sundays from 8:30-9:40 PM .

Sessions are held at the Notre Dame Center, 20 Otis Street, Danvers. No sessions are scheduled on traditional school holidays.

Our First Communion Program is a two years religious education program for Grades 1 and 2.

Religious Education sessions for Grades 9-10 meet on Thursdays from 6:15 -7:30 PM

Sessions are held at the Notre Dame Center, 20 Otis Street, Danvers

No sessions are scheduled on traditional school holidays

Participants meet in large and small groups to hear about, read, think about, and discuss:
* their life in God - Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit
* weekly lectionary readings
* Church teachings as they apply to adolescent life issues.

Prayer, service, and community activities are a natural outcome of a life of faith and are an integral part of our religious education ministry.

Our Confirmation program is for candidates in the 10th grade or older. Candidates participate in a two year (9th and 10th grade) religious education program in a parish or catholic school setting and participate in a 10 session preparation program immediately preceding the celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation.
